Here's a dump of links to places or people I find interesting, useful, or nice. I got the idea from a colleague, and as he referenced: the internet needs more links.
Online Tools
- cobalt.tools
- Download any video or audio from Youtube and almost any other social media (like Reddit, TikTok, Twitter, etc.)

- An improved read-only client for Hacker News (news.ycombinator.com)
- timeful.app
- A very nice tool for coordinating meetups/meetings between people
- Photopea
- An online photo editor, very easy to use, though not as good as [get]paint.net
Friends & Colleagues
- Kevin Thomas
- A bright student who I have collaborated with in the past. Has a lot of cool projects on his portfolio site.
- Gabby Simpson
- My favorite Rust & mixology enthusiast. Inspired me to learn Rust.
- Trinity Angelica
- A portfolio site showcasing some of my girlfriend's art & photos. Not updated often enough!
- Rome Stoppiello
- A web developer, photographer, and artist. Check out their photos and online tools.
- Max Herold
- A good friend, software engineer, and artist. Quiet, but exceptionally worth listening to.
- Patrick Smathers
- A nice guy, helped develop the original fractal generator at CUHackit 2022
Software
- Jellyfin
- A free & open-source media server for movies, audio, books, etc... I host my own instance at home.
- Immich
- Photo/video storage (open-source, self-hosted) with an emphasis on speed. I cancelled my Google Photos subscription, and have been getting my family on it.
- Kiwix
- An offline reader for various wikis, docs, and other resources including Wikipedia. I have an offline copy of Wikipedia just in case the world ends.
